I can say that this is probably one of the best time management books I have seen!
The book was beneficial at a point in my life where I was stressed, overwhelmed and burnt out almost every day. I was struggling to manage all my responsibilities, including my health, family, and my work. It like I never had enough time to do what I needed to do.
Brian Tracy shows how to set and manage priorities in one’s life, which is really important because you have so much time during the day, and you’ll want to make sure you’re doing the most important tasks that get you closer to your big goals.

He suggests that you handle your most vital task of the day first thing in the morning.
Why? Because when you complete your most important challenge for the day, it will give you a sense of accomplishment.
You will feel proud and will be more motivated to achieve your remaining tasks on your To-Do list. It’s all about building momentum throughout the day.
I will recommend this book, especially if you are struggling to manage your time or you feel overwhelmed with all you have on your plate.
I remember reading this book when I began working at a consulting company a couple of years ago.
Brian Tracy shares a lot of the success principles that he has learned and practiced over the years. What it comes down to is developing self-discipline for your work and in your life.
The most important lesson I learned was that self-discipline is “doing what you have to do, even if you don’t feel like doing it.”
Discipline is a habit, and anyone learns it. I’ve carried these lessons throughout my career, including moving up the corporate ladder earning over 100K, writing books, starting my business and even building a strategic relationship with people that are ahead of me in life.
I still re-read this book every month as a reminder of what and why I need to stay disciplined.
This is an excellent book for anyone who’s starting a career, a new job, or just wanting to learn more on how to create self-disciplined in life.
The was the first ever book that I had read from Brian Tracy. It was when I graduated from college and was starting my career as a Financial Advisor. Back then, I knew nothing about sales and was buying any books that I could find that had “Selling” in the title of the book cover.
I read a couple of sales books, but this book stood out because it didn’t talk about techniques, tactics, nor strategies to make a sale.
Instead, Brian Tracy focused on the psychology of selling from both the seller and the buyer’s perspective.
When you understand the fundamental of sales, then you can figure out which strategies work best for you.
It comes down to writing out your goals first, which I wasn’t doing at that time. I ended up writing 20 goals that I wanted to achieve in the next three years. I am happy to say I met all of them in 2 years instead!
If you are getting into a sales type job or you’re a business owner or an entrepreneur, you need to read this book. It will introduce you to the fundamental and psychology of selling, so you no longer need to guess what to do on a sales call or pitch.
From the title, you can actually guess what this book is about. Yes, goals! Now there are many books out there that talk about how to set goals like SMART goals or any other types.
What I love about this author is he always goes back to the fundamentals on any subjects he writes about based on his personal experience as well as the thousands and even millions of people helped over the decades. After reading this book, trust me when I say that you will begin to rewrite your current goals.
Brian Tracy keeps it simple and has a step by step process in creating a goal and how to stay focused in your goals. How you word the goal statement is essential and that you need to write it down every day as a reminder.
Your mind is designed for goal seeking, but you need to feed the right information so it can guide you in the right direction for all your decisions.
I have doubled and tripled income every year as a result of using his goal-setting method. So regardless of whether you’ve already written your goals down or you’re not sure how to do it, I would highly recommend you read this book to up-level your game.
This book focuses more on personal development topics in improving one’s life compared to his previous book already mentioned that focuses more on sales or goal setting.
I would say this book focuses on the bigger picture in helping you with personal achievements. It shares the principles, characteristics and thinking of successful people.
You can guess that he talks about goal setting, selling, time, etc., but the difference here is he focuses on your actual attitude towards them compare to applying specific strategies.
You see it’s your principles that build the foundation for your business or work, which then govern the strategies that you apply. Plans can change, but your policies will last forever.
This an excellent book for employees wanting to promote or entrepreneurs who want to start a business. This book helps build your character as a confident leader.
If you want to know anything and everything about success, then read this book. This is probably the best book about success that Brian Tracy has written, and I can honestly say that you can put this book along aside other favorite success books like ‘Think & Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill or ‘How to Win Friends & Influence People’ by Dale Carnegie.
Maximum Achievement’ book will help you improve every area of your life, including health, work, relationships, marriage, etc.
Brian Tracy goes into your mindset like what you think, the limiting beliefs that you have that are shaping the reality of your life. The book focuses on building your self-esteem, confidence, and love for yourself how to talk better to yourself with words that empower you to take action compared to ones that bring discouragement.
It doesn’t matter how well you’re doing right now in your life, reading this book will improve your performance or probably at the very least help remind you of what you’re doing right.
A great lesson I learned was that a successful life is not determined by how much money you make but rather how happy you are. Are you satisfied with your relationships? Are you fulfilled in your job? Do you live every day with purpose and drive? These are just some of the questions this book will help you find answers to.
