Jami Carder is a Registered Nurse at the Visiting Nurses Association of Cape Cod. Entering her 17th year of nursing, Jami has experience in both the hospital setting and home care, and founded Lighthouse Home Health Care of Cape Cod, Inc in 2012.

Jami’s writing has been featured in multiple peer-reviewed nursing journals. Her article, “Someone’s Son” (American Journal of Nursing, October, 2017) won the 2018 Women in Communication Association’s Clarion Award.

Her specialty areas are changing toxic relationship patterns and healing from narcissistic abuse, codependency, medical trauma, CPTSD, scapegoat roles and childhood sexual abuse.

She also works as a Coach Mentor for the International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaching.
