Ms. Joye has experienced trauma and post traumatic growth and helps others to do the same individually and collectively through her outreach with guest blogs, podcasts and video interviews about trauma and codependency. Her story has been featured in "O" magazine, Prevention.com, Healthline.com, and other avenues online and in person.
Her new book titled, Codependency 2.0 Discovery and Recovery: How to Say No to Others and Yes to Yourself is scheduled to be released by HCI publishing in the fall of 2021. Mary enjoyed a previous career in the music industry as a singer/songwriter in Nashville and incorporates creativity in her work to combat adversity.
She is a solution focused therapist who helps others listen to themselves by making connections with the past and present so they can enjoy a better future.
