This mascara is one of few that actually uses black tea leaves to pigment rather than coal tar. Leaving out such harsh and toxic petrochemicals makes for a much richer formula which allows for this mascara to be long-lasting without smudging and flaking.

Another benefit of this mascara is the fact that it actually supplies lashes with the proper nutrients to thicken and lengthen naturally. These nutrients are derived from oat protein, wheat protein, and Pro-vitamin B5.

Furthermore, the formula is perfect for dramatic looks due to its ability to build on various coats, clump-free.

Aside from how affordable and easily accessible this mascara is, it also happens to be perfect for a night out. This formula is infused with an organic lash boosting complex, natural fibers, and natural silk cotton.

This mascara is known to not only thicken but also separate each lash. Due to this factor, this mascara is amazing for more dramatic and intense looks. Additionally, the mascara is smudge-proof and is said to lash a full 24hours.

This mascara is made with jojoba oil and Glycerin to naturally and effectively grow and nourish lashes. Due to the natural oils included in this formula, this mascara has the ability to build well without clumping!

This product is perfect for everyday wear. While this mascara probably isn’t the best fit for a night out, it is by far the best pick if you want to see legitimate growth and an increase in volume for your natural lashes.

This all-natural product is a favorite simply due to the fact that it’s a two in one! This dual-ended mascara includes a fantastic eyelash primer that evens out, intensifies color, and enhances lash lengthening ability.

Aside from the convenience of its dual-ended tube, this product is also one step ahead of the game with it’s specially molded brush bristles which are actually designed to pick up each individual lash.

This dynamic duo makes for a very defined and extremely long-lasting look. While it isn’t labeled as a waterproof product, this mascara is praised for its durability.

The pigment is rich so I use my angled brush to apply the mascara to the roots of my lashes like an eyeliner.

Normally, when I hear about a “natural mascara”, I run for the hills! But then I tried the Phyto-Pigments Mascara by Juice Beauty! Made from rose powder, Aloe leaf extract, purple carrot phyto-pigment, and argan powder.

As a makeup artist, I need to be able to add layers upon layers of mascara during a shoot. It doesn’t clump, goes on like a makeup artists dream come true! I have had models, celebrities, and brides who request a natural mascara because of sensitive eyes, so I was thrilled to the moon to find this mascara!

Ilia Mascara’s Limitless Lash is a favorite of mine and it has been one of the easier products to switch over to natural. The Limitless Lash helps with volume, does not clump, and lasts all day without smudging or leaving black residue under your eye.

Another perk, it washes off easily at the end of the day; I’ve never woken up with leftover mascara in the morning, and as a result, my natural lashes are fuller.

Over the 7 years that I have used natural makeup, Honeybee Gardens is the brand I come back to again and again. All of Honeybee Gardens’ products are cruelty-free, vegan, and use natural ingredients.

You can find their mascara in 3 different colors for a drugstore price that makes this find a real gem. What’s more, you don’t have to look online to find this mascara! Honeybee Gardens can be found in the makeup section of most health food stores, like Sprouts, Natural Grocers, and Whole Foods.

My first impression when I bought this mascara was that it had a very different smell. It was a very pleasant, almost earthy smell that made me think of flowers. The applicator brush is standard and managed to separate each of my lashes perfectly. I can use this mascara for everyday looks, or I can layer it for stage makeup when I have a ballet performance

I’ve had other natural mascaras stop working overtime, similar to how your hair can adjust to a certain brand of shampoo it seemed to love at first. But I’ve been using this mascara for several months and it hasn’t shown any signs of stopping.
